Did you hear the startling rumor that rapper-turned-actor-turned-TV personality Bow Wow (real name Shad Moss) had been fired from his job as a host for BET’s hit music video countdown show, 106 & Park, for charging $30,000 worth of child support on his company credit card? We know, unbelieveable right? Well, you have every reason not to believe it — because it’s completely fabricated.

Yesterday, Bow Wow cleared up rumors for the fans when he was asked on Twitter to set the record straight about the “news” that was posted on Cream BMP Daily, an online new site that is famous for its fake headlines.

It was fake story homie. Naw it aint official,” Bow Wow tweeted to fans, including industry pal 50 Cent.

But that doesn’t mean that Bow Wow can’t have a little fun with the rumor, right?

After several outlets picked up the completely hilarious story, Bow Wow took to the official 106 & Park Instagram page to release a video of an overly emotional Bow Wow crying as he makes his way off of the 106 & Park premises. The video has since been deleted (boo), but has been replaced by a video of Bow Wow hanging out in the studio during a commercial break.

Guess that puts an end to everything!
