Madea’s coming to TV, guys! Well, sort of.
Actor/producer/director Tyler Perry is coming back to TV with yet another show — this time, it features the man in question as the host of his own nighttime TV show. Tyler took to Twitter on February 18 to make the great announcement:
Thanks to his exclusive multi-year partnership with Oprah Winfrey, Tyler already directs several television shows on OWN — including his popular drama, The Haves and Have Nots, and comedies Love Thy Neighborand Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse.
While we’re not sure whether the show will be a daily or weekly production, the one-hour program will air February 25 at 10 p.m. and feature some of the cast members of The Haves and Have Nots.
Before you think Tyler has put his movie making days behind him, the multi-media mogul is already coming back to the cinemas next month with The Single Moms Club starring Nia Long, Amy Smart, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and of course, himself.
Oh, and The Single Moms club is also due to have its own spin-off show crafted by Tyler for the OWN network.
It looks like we’re going to be seeing a lot of Tyler this year!
