A little less than two years ago, Tia Mowry-Hardrict announced via Twitter that she would not be returning to the successful CW-turned-BET hit series The Game. However, a recent interview with Tia’s former co-star (and friend) Wendy Raquel Robinson makes it sound like Tia will “definitely” revive her character, Melanie Barnett!

Wendy gabbed to Mara the Hip Hop Socialite over at The Home of Hip Hop, that she believes fans “will definitely see them back because it’s a mutual love, you know.

As a matter of fact, Wendy made it known that both Tia and her on-screen husband Pooch Hall (Derwin Davis), who also left the show after Season 5, were actually supposed to appear for the finale of the currently airing Season 7, but couldn’t because of time conflicts.

“What they were trying to do everybody’s schedule is so crazy they did actually, they were written in to the season finale, but schedules just didn’t work out,” she said. “Pooch and Tia they do want to continue on and do the show, but you know, things change, careers go in different directions and things like that, but it’s been a wonderful adjustment.”

During Season 2 of her reality TV show, Tia & Tamera, we watched as Tia struggled with the decision to say goodbye to her character Melanie after she learned that production wanted Melanie and Derwin to become recurring characters. After much deliberation, Tia decided to back out of The Game; however, it looks like she didn’t mean forever!
