Looks like R&B Divas Atlanta star KeKe Wyatt is expanding her horizons! The often quirky, sometimes crazy, but always-talented KeKe will be acting in a new stage play, In God’s Hands.

The play, which is set to be released on DVD and digital download on July 15, follows the life of a woman by the name of Angie Cartwright (played by KeKe) who always had the gift of song, but was forced to give up her dreams of a successful music career. Now a single mom, Angie is ready to get back out there and accomplish her goals, but has a few obstacles in her way, including a “good for nothing” fianceé and a teenage son struggling to become a man, so she moves back in with the family she left behind to face some shockers from her past and press on with her future.

In God’s Hands also stars Martin’s Thomas Ford, Smart Guy’s Omar Gooding, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams of Real Husbands of Hollywood.

"In God’s Hands spreads the message that even though the world is a big place and there may be challenges, there is no place like home and family will always be there,” says Nina Henderson Moore, President of RLJ Entertainment’s Urban Division. “RLJ Entertainment prides itself on distributing content that tells the dynamic stories of diverse audiences in today’s culture.”

Of course, this isn’t KeKe’s first time at the stage rodeo. Back in 2009, the mama starred in a production of Je'Caryous Johnson's Love Overboard, which toured nationally.

We’re pretty excited for KeKe and all the progress that she’s making. Between this play going up for grabs and her new single “Fall in Love,” it looks like coo-coo KeKe is making big moves!

In God’s Hands will be available for purchase at major retailers nationwide, online on iTunes and Amazon, and will be streamed on RLJ Entertainment’s urban online subscription channel On Cue.
