Things haven’t been going so well for R&B songstress Lil’ Mo. During the Season 2 premiere of R&B Divas L.A., Mo broke the news that she and her husband, Phillip Bryant, have called it quits. Now, it appears Mo is gearing up to tell another group of people about her split — her kids.

In the sneak peek for tonight’s episode, Mo tells co-star and friend Claudette Ortiz about breaking the news of her first divorce to her children, and how this second one is probably already taking effect.

“Last time I was out here, I was married. This time I’m out here, I’m not married,” Mo starts her conversation with Claudette. The Baltimore native goes on to say, “I haven’t even had a discussion with my kids yet, but I know Heaven knows because she’s been real clingy to me.”

Heaven, Mo’s eldest daughter with first husband Al Stone, had a tough time dealing with her mother’s divorce from her father, and it appears Mo doesn’t want a repeat of the same thing this time around.

“I know she knows something is up,” she says, adding, “I saw Heaven send out a text ‘My mom looks miserable and I don’t want to be miserable like that.’ I gagged. I gotta talk to my kids.”

Lil’ Mo then turns to Claudette, who is also divorced, for advice… and we can only hope that the former City High member gives Mo some great tips to handle the very delicate talk.

A new episode of R&B Divas L.A. airs tonight, Wednesday, July 23 at 10 p.m. on TV One. Will you be watching? Tell us in the comments below!
