By now your ears (and eyes) may have had a helping of the music recently released by Atlanta music couple T.I. and Tiny Harris. Tiny’s new single, “What the F—k You Gon Do?” and T.I.’s “Stay” appeared to hit close to home, with Tiny admitting to using some of their real-life rumored marital issues as inspiration for her tune. While T.I. claimed that the situation in his song isn’t completely based in reality, Tiny sure seemed to think so and even said she hopes that their music will help their relationship.

In a recent interview with Vibe, Tiny revealed that she has had some criticism about using her home life as the basis for her music.

“I’ve had people say, why not just talk to your husband about all this instead of talking to him through a song. Please believe, I’m doing that too! You’re not in our house. You’re not in our conversations. You’re not in our bed at night. This song is not all there is to this relationship,” she said.

Hmm… with the semi-autobiographical nature of Tiny’s song, fans are of course worried about it possibly making things worse and not better. When asked if she thought that the music will affect her real-life marriage, the singer answered, “I really don’t know. I mean if it does, I hope it’s in a good way. Hopefully, it works out in our favor in the end. All I know is that I’m working on it. We’re working on it."
