Usher’s Allegedly Hiding His Assets In Case He Loses $20 Million Lawsuit (UPDATE)
UPDATE (9/1/2017 at 12:15 p.m. ET):
The woman suing Usher for allegedly giving her genital herpes now claims the singer is transferring all of his assets so they can't be seized if he loses her $20 million lawsuit against him, TMZ reports.
Her lawyer claims Usher is probably up to something because he delayed the discovery process in the lawsuit by 90 days.
This is presumably so he wouldn't have to disclose his assets and would have time to hide them.

UPDATE (8/25/2017 at 1:35 p.m. ET):
Usher is contesting the $20M lawsuit filed against him by a former lover accusing him of giving her herpes.
In response, the “Confessions” singer is arguing she could have contracted the STD either before or after having unprotected sex with him, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
He also argues that she assumed the risk of getting herpes by having "casual, unprotected sexual intercourse and/or oral sex" with him.
Interestingly, none of his arguments claim he doesn’t have it or couldn’t have given it to her.

Original story (7/25/2017 at 12:18 p.m. ET): It looks like Usher’s sexual history is coming back to haunt him – and his bank account – again as the Atlanta crooner just paid off a woman he confessed to giving herpes to in legal court documents.
Now, the singer is being sued by a second potential victim, and she wants far more than a measly one million bucks.
The woman, referred to as “Jane Doe” in legal docs, filed a $10 million dollar lawsuit against the singer once news broke that he was diagnosed with herpes simplex 2.
Since, the woman tested herself for the STD, which reportedly came back positive.
Due to her positive results, she’s doubled her lawsuit, now seeking $20M from the “Confessions” singer, according to TMZ.
Jane Doe claims to have hooked up with the married musician just three months ago on April 16 at her home.
Documents indicate there was some heavy petting, kissing, oral sex and eventually intercourse, with the pair using a condom the first time around.
However, documents later reveal they had sex 12 days later without using protection in a New Orleans hotel.
Her initial lawsuit only accused him of exposing her to the virus without disclosure, but now that she’s tested positive, all bets are clearly off.
The “U Got it Bad” singer just settled with his first victim, a celebrity stylist, for $1.1M.
Her test results confirmed a first-time infection and a file in the settlement reads: “In a series of telephone conversations and online chat sessions, [Usher] has apologized for infecting [her] and told her he would take care of things.”
