UPDATE: TMZ has obtained footage from WAGA Fox 5 Atlanta of an ambulance at Usher's home, and the site reports that Usher was not present when the incident occurred at 2 p.m. ET on Monday.
Voice coach Usher is currently in the ICU of an Atlanta hospital after his 5-year-old son, Usher Raymond V, suffered a serious accident in his pool on August 5.
According to TMZ, the oldest of the singer’s two sons with ex-wife Tameka Foster has a lot of water in his lungs and “underwent some form of resuscitation.”
Apparently the child was playing in the pool with his aunt and dove down to get a toy from the drain. His arm got caught in the drain, and his aunt and the maid were unable to get him out.
The gossip site says that early tests indicate he'll make a complete recovery, which is good news considering Usher lost his stepson, Kile, in July 2012 after a tragic jet ski accident.
Ush has primary custody of his two sons, after winning a tough battle against his ex, and loves spending time with the tots.
The R&B superstar will return to The Voice in spring 2014 for Season 6.
Sending Usher Raymond V all the best for a speedy recovery!
