Usher’s Alleged Stalker Wants to Know If He’ll Testify During the Trial — Report
Usher’s alleged stalker is about to face trial and she wants to make sure it’s a fair fight.
Darshelle Jones is demanding prosecutors don’t include any illegally seized evidence in her criminal trial and wants to know who exactly will be testifying against her.
Darshelle has allegedly been stalking the 38-year-old singer for years, according to The Jasmine Brand.
She was recently arrested in Atlanta, GA after showing up to a record studio while Usher was recording.
She allegedly crossed the street, attempting to record him with an iPad, violating a previous restraining order the “Confessions” singer already had against her.
Darshelle was then charged with aggravated stalking and is facing up to 10 years in jail.
The woman’s trial was originally set for October 10, 2016 but the judge decided she was not competent to stand trial at the time.
Now, as Darshelle prepares for her trial, she has filed docs demanding the court suppress any evidence the prosecutors obtained illegally, including any confessions she made.
She also claims the prosecutors haven’t shared their evidence with her despite her requests.
Darshelle is also asking the State to hand over a list of their witnesses and wants to know if the singer will testify in court.
Do you think Darshelle’s requests are reasonable? Do you think they’ll actually be granted? Let us know in the comments below.
