16 and Pregnant's Valerie Fairman made headlines when she was arrested on February 13 in New Castle, Delaware, and charged with prostitution. According to a report from TMZ, Valerie was one of seven women who were booked during a police sting, and she was allegedly in the process of prostituting herself for cash at the time of her arrest.

Now, The Ashley's Reality Roundup reports that Valerie has been abusing drugs — though she reportedly tried to clean up her act with rehab (her most recent visit was in 2014). “She wants to get better,” Valerie's ex-boyfriend, David Pryce (aka the uncle of her baby daddy) tells The Ashley. “She was always a really good girl. But she’s been on dope forever.”

David claims that Valerie has been a prostitute for at least a year, and that she's contracted an illness from her illegal activities. “She’s a really pretty girl, so it is not hard for her,” David said. “Eventually, she got Hepatitis C and after that she just really gave up.”

The good news is that Valerie's daughter, Nevaeh (Heaven spelled backwards) is doing well, and lives with Valerie's parents. “Valerie never sees Nevaeh at all,” David tells The Ashley. “It’s very sad because Valerie is a real sweetheart and she wants to be clean. When she was with me, she was fighting so hard to get clean. She would be sick every morning. But she can’t kick it.”

Check back in with Wetpaint Entertainment for more updates on Valerie's situation. Hopefully she can get herself together for the sake of her daughter.
