Vampire Diaries Spoilers: Why Klaus May Not Die in Season 3

Let’s start this by saying we love Joseph Morgan (Klaus). The British actor brings his very own swagger to The Vampire Diaries, and he’s the reason we walked around saying, “Rippah” all summer. So good. But since he’s done so many awful things (killing Aunt Jenna, trying to amass an unstoppable hybrid army) we always thought Klaus had an expiration date. Sure, he’s started drawing pony pictures for Caroline (Candice Accola), but he’s not on the verge of becoming a good guy, right?

Maybe, sort of, according to Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore). He told TV Line that the hybrid might make it to Season 4 after all. “Stefan may just say, ‘You know what? F*** this guy.’ Klaus has become a little bit of a staple in this community, so it’s really more about getting Klaus to not be so much of a threat” instead of running him through with a white ash dagger.

This season has been a lot of buildup for the younger Stefan to abandon his plan. “I’m not saying he will,” Paul teases, “but I think that it’s a possibility.”

More J.Morg is never a bad thing.
