Our favorite residents of Mystic Falls just finished filming and that means it was time for The Vampire Diaries wrap party!

It’s basically like all your pretend BFFs had a bash, and now you can pretend you were there, too, with these photos and videos. Warning: May cause extreme FOMO.

Let’s get to the most important thing first: Yes, there was a cake. And yes, it was epic.

No wonder she wanted to come hang on mommy's last day... #tvdforever

Frankly, we are definitely taking Candice Accola’s daughter’s side on this one.

Speaking of Candice, she brought her husband to the party, too!

He's my rock (star) #allthefeels Taking a break from the tears to celebrate the last 8 years! #tvdforever

It seems the real-life Caroline Forbes has been shedding lots of tears at the wrap, and we definitely will be, too.

Candice was also spotted getting down on the dance floor with none other than Vicki Donovan, AKA Kayla Ewell.

We can’t wait to see how Vicki gets worked into The Vampire Diaries series finale.

Also spotted at the party? The one and only Nina Dobrev, of course!

8 years ago I walked into a room and left with some of the greatest friends of my life. #tvdforever

Nina brought a gift for the rest of the cast.

Dearest TVD family, It feels like it was just yesterday that I was saying goodbye. And yet two years have passed and here we are again. This is my true final goodbye, as today I shot my last scene of the Vampire Diaries forever. Coming back for the series finale has been a whirlwind of emotion, nostalgia, love, tears of joy and bittersweet endings. It feels like the beautiful closure we all needed, myself included, and I couldn't have been happier to come home to be with my TVD set family and friends. I feel the fans family will also be happy with the show's conclusion when they tune in to watch the last episode air in a few short weeks. From the bottom of my heart, I send you my biggest thanks for the countless years of implicit dedication, passion, support, and undying love from all the fans that have stuck with us on this truly amazing and beautiful journey. As this last chapter ends, we welcome and look forward to going on to the next adventure and hope that you continue to follow us as our new journeys begin. I grew up on this show and am eternally grateful for all the opportunities it has given me, and so thankful for each and every person who worked on The Vampire Diaries over the last 8 years. We are all pieces of a big puzzle and without every truly amazing cast and crew member, this magical puzzle would not be complete. Thank you for all your hard work, friendship and love. You have touched my heart in ways you will never know. Sending looch smooches, Love, Katherine, Amara, Tatia, and of course, Elena Gilbert. #TVDforever #FangsForTheMemories Ps. I had these custom engraved TVD #Forever keys made as crew gifts for my beloved TVD a family. @thegivingkeys is an amazing company that sells products to provide jobs. These Giving Keys (which you’re supposed to pass along to people who need to hear their message) say TVD on one side, and #Forever on the other. Love!

The showrunner behind it all, Julie Plec, got in a picture with the women of Mystic Falls.

Also: Hello, Sheriff Forbes! But don’t worry — the boys were having fun, too.

Michael Trevino and Steven R. McQueen shared a picture as two former rivals turned vampire-hunting friends.

Season 8. Wrap party! I love these guys! #tvdforever

And the picture might look a little familiar…

One fan points out that the pose is a throwback to many seasons ago.

We love it!

The real-life Enzo, Stefan, and even John Gilbert got in on the celebration pictures.

Rumors have it that Ian Somerhalder and his wife Nikki Reed had to leave the wrap party early, which might explain his absence from some pictures.

It wouldn’t be a wrap party without some loving speeches, and luckily some fans and crew caught the words of Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, and even Nina Dobrev singing Aerosmith.

Yes, this is real life.

We’re going to miss everyone so much!

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 airs Fridays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
