Sob! Our little vampires have grown up so fast. Well, not really. It took them two years to get through senior year. Still, it’s time to bid Mystic Falls High School goodbye, and that means it’s time for our live recap of The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 23, “Graduation” — aka, the Season 4 finale.
We’ll have our full Vampire Diaries recap up after the show, but until then, you can follow along with our live chat, starting at 8 pm. We’ve been listening to Candice Accola’s version of Vitamin C’s “Graduation (Friends Forever)” and are ready to answer your questions, comments, and concerns, so keep refreshing frequently.
Start a prayer circle for Damon (Ian Somerhalder). The vampire is in big trouble when a ghosts comes after him. Also tangling with vengeful spirits? Rebekah(Claire Holt) and Matt (Zach Roerig), who are trying to deal with Bex’s ex Alexander.
You’d think a town full of ghosts might warrant a rescheduling of graduation, but not on Caroline Forbes’s (Candice Accola) watch. Maybe it’s just as well, because she ends up getting a special gift. While it might be from Klaus (Joseph Morgan), we somehow doubt it’s more fancy jewelry. (You can deliver the next bracelet to us, though, Klaus.)
Bonnie (Kat Graham) is still a ghost, but that doesn’t stop her from closing the veil. Silas is still a factor, too. Stefan (Paul Wesley) gets some disturbing intel about the ancient immortal.
Someone will take the cure, and Elena (Nina Dobrev) makes a choice between the Salvatore siblings. It’s a busy day for the baby vamp: She has a showdown with Katherine (Nina Dobrev).
