Amazing news from The CW: We finally know when its new series The Originals will debut. The network released the start dates for its new and returning series, including The Vampire Diaries and its spin-off.  So when does The Originals Season 1 start?

Starting on October 15, the supernatural show will air Tuesdays at 8 pm, right before Supernatural. That’s a week later than the rest of the shows start airing. TVD will stay in the same slot on Thursday nights at 8 pm, beginning on October 10. Instead of being paired with Beauty and the Beast or its spin-off, a new series called Reign will air after Vampire Diaries.

Are you excited to watch Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt) on Tuesdays? That’s twice the vampires in one week! And if you can’t get enough of TVD executive producer and Originals creator Julie Plec, you can watch her other new show The Tomorrow People— which stars Robbie Amell as a man who suddenly has surprising new abilities — after Arrow at 9 pm on Wednesdays.
