The Beacon Hills teens have been a bit too busy for romance in Teen Wolf Season 3. (Just ask Stiles, who experienced coitus interruptus of the worst kind in Episode 2.) But as Tyler Posey tells Entertainment Weekly, that doesn’t mean Scott and Allison (Crystal Reed) are quite done making mooney eyes at one another.

“‘The Talk’ happens a couple of times this season,” Tyler says. “Allison and Scott have sparks, they have history, and they’ve got a deep love for one another. It’s not really love that could turn into another relationship, but those sparks never really go away.” It’s so hard to be a cross-species couple.

With the Alpha pack and a serial killer stalking Beacon Hills, going on dates to the soda shop isn’t high on either’s list of priorities. “There’s going to be some awkward sexual tension, but I think for the most part, everyone’s going to try to focus on saving each other’s lives rather than getting back together,” says Tyler.

Of course, we saw the lengths Scott was willing to go to get a tattoo representing his struggle to stay away from his ex. Tyler says, “Allison is very big in Scott’s world and he just wants nothing but for her to be happy — and maybe be with her. But if that [can't happen], Scott’s growing up to the point where he can accept the fact that they won’t be together anymore. But that may not be the case! Because they could get back together. I just contradict myself with everything I say.”

Grr. You’re maddening, Posey!
