After 2,000 years on this earth, Silas is ready to die, but something tells us it won't be so easy. In the promo for The Vampire Diaries Season 5, Episode 6 (“Handle With Care”), it looks like after taking the cure, Silas is finally ready to kick the bucket with a little help from Damon and Elena — but there’s one thing they need from him first.

“Now that you’re a witch, you can bring Bonnie back from the Other Side,” Elena says. “Yeah, I can,” replies Silas. “Did you want me to pinky swear?” Cheekiness aside, will Silas actually hold up his end of the deal? He hasn’t been the most reliable person in the past, and he already got what he wanted from them — his mortality.

And then there’s Tessa, who reveals her new plan to thwart Silas to Stefan, only to realize that once again, Silas has outsmarted her. In the end, it’s Damon who figures out Tessa’s endgame — and it's something so big, it leaves Damon stunned. (Since when has this Salvatore ever been rendered speechless?) We think Tessa's plan has something to do with Amara, the Original Petrova doppelganger and Silas's one true love. Is she going to use Amara to lure Silas into her trap?
