Former Vampire Diaries star Arielle Kebbel (Lexi Branson) was on fire this week during her rehash for Season 5, Episode 8 (“Dead Man on Campus”). The former TVDer recapped Damon’s capture, Steferine’s agonies, and why it was such a bad week to have a supernatural boyfriend.

These week’s rehash is worth it for Arielle’s sing-a-long of social media user Evelina’s “Leave Stefan Alone (Cause He’s My BB).” Trust us. It’s worth the watch — and surprisingly catchy the more you listen to it. Arielle has plenty of plot twists to snark about this week as it’s “So long ‘62547’ and hello ‘21051’” — i.e., R.I.P., Jesse and welcome to your new/old cell, Damon Salvatore. Even Arielle seems worried about Damon’s fate: “This could get ugly — especially considering Doogie’s [aka Dr. Wes’s] recent track record? Not good.”

Arielle noted that “It wasn’t a good week to have a supernatural boyfriend.” Caroline’s boyfriend died. Elena’s boyfriend was captured for some insane experiments. And Nadia’s Matt-possessing boyfriend was killed by her own mother. Speaking of Katherine, she was having a tough week in general…

“Katherine was having a real case of the Mondays, and Stefan was still trying to get a grip — but you all loved that they were both there in each others’ moments of need,” rehashed Arielle — looks like we’re not the only ones feeling the rekindling Steferine love. Or worried about Katherine’s aggressive aging and Stefan’s PTSD.

Steferine wasn’t the only couple rekindling their romance — Jeremy and Bonnie’s love went up in flames — of desire, that is. The two lovebirds finally slept together after episodes of getting cockblocked by Bonnie’s ghost status. Arielle shared Steven R. McQueen’s teasing tweet about the scene: “So you can't show the naked stuff we shot?” Steven hilariously tweeted at executive producer Julie Plec following the ep. Arielle didn’t miss a beat: “Alright, you guys, the stuff for a leaked director’s cut begins now.”

Check out the full rehash for all of Arielle’s quick quips and solid summaries.
