This week’s rehash of The Vampire Diaries100th episode is just as special as the episode it’s rehashing. There’s cameos from three TVD cast members, a showcase of the best fan-made scene re-enactments, and, of course, reactions to the epicness that was Season 5, Episode 11 (“500 Years of Solitude”). Per the usual, rehash host Arielle Kebbel (Lexi) does not let us down.

This week’s rehash is worth the watch alone for Steven R. McQueen (Jeremy), Zach Roerig (Matt) and Candice Accola’s (Caroline) reading of tweets about their characters’ scandalous activities in the 100th episode. But there’s plenty more awesomeness where that came from, as Arielle breaks down what went down in the 100th ep. “We got to see a lot of old friends, Klaroline shippers all simultaneously exploded, and Katherine? Well, she went and did this…” Cut to a mini-montage of Katherine first planting herself in Elena’s body, then calling her daughter to confirm a successful shenanigan. “Of course it worked. I’m Katherine Pierce. I survive.” Classic!

One of the best parts of the ep? The return of some of our favorite spinoff-ers: “Yes, the Originals paid us a visit from New Orleans: Klaus turned up in the woods, Rebekah got poor Matt out of the safe, and even Elijah was there to comfort Kath— oh no, wait, that was Damon.” Poor, Katherine! But, as Arielle points out: Elijah may have been fiction… “But Klaroline? Oh, yeah, that was real.”

The rehash also gave out awards for the impressive and at-times hilarious fan re-enactments of classic TVD scenes. Award categories included:

  • Best use of a stuffed animal stunt double

  • Best Silas road trip scene

  • Best Whitmore scene

  • Best Lexi scene

  • Best foreign film

  • Most dramatic actor

  • Hilarious re-enactments of the Katherine-Caroline hospital murder scene

Seriously, you do not want to miss this parade of fan awesomeness. This may have been the best rehash yet.
