It seems to be all Enzo (Michael Malarkey), all the time in the extended promo for next week’s all new episode of The Vampire Diaries. What is the ruggedly handsome European vampire up to and what part is bestie Damon (Ian Somerhalder) playing in it? Here’s the extended promo for Season 5, Episode 13 (“Total Eclipse of the Heart”).

“Who is Enzo?” Nadia (Olga Fonda) asks at the beginning of the 30-second glimpse into next week’s shenanigans. Everyone’s talking about Damon’s former Augustine cellmate. We literally see both Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Katherine (Nina Dobrev) say his name before we see the smooth-talking vamp himself. He’s introducing himself to someone — Stefan, by the looks of it, which is strange given that they met when Enzo was terrorizing them on the Whitmore College campus.

Stefan’s not impressed with Enzo’s re-introduction into Damon’s life. “What? You two are pals again? Murder buddies?” Er, yep. Cue montage of dead bodies. “Come on, Damon. You’re better than this,” Stefan tells him.

“On the contrary: I’m better like this,” Damon counters, in full-on petulant killer mode. Sounds like someone’s flipped that humanity switch yet again.

“What did Damon and Enzo do now?” Katherine-as-Elena asks — as she slow dances with Stefan. Homegirl doesn’t waste any time, does she?

Whatever Denzo is up to, we’re digging Stefan in Protective Brother Mode. “Leave my brother out of it,” he tells Enzo. We then see him take out Enzo. Stefan helpfully explains what is going down as he chokes Enzo: “What I do to you, Enzo, will be final.”

Yikes! Enzo isn’t dying already, is he? We doubt it. We have a feeling this is just the start of Damon and Enzo’s Murderous Tour. Buckle up, people!

Do you think Stefan will really kill Enzo? And will Stefan fall for Katherine’s act? Sound off in the comments below!
