While some characters arguably stick around The Vampire Diaries after their welcome has worn out, Rose (Laura Cohan) was not one of them. We felt as if we were just getting to know the 500-year-old vampire before she was bitten by a werewolf and died in Damon’s arms. While Rose has been sadly absent from our lives since, actress Laura Cohan has been popping up all over the television landscape. And, now, she’s set to appear on FX’s animated spy series, Archer! Read on for all of the deets…

Entertainment Weekly reports that Laura has been signed on to the edgy comedy to voice Juliana Calderon, “a European socialite married to a brutal Central American dictator ... yet who has her sights set on Archer.” Sounds perfect! Then again, we’d watch/listen to Lauren in anything. And the actress seems to be just as excited about the role as we are…

“My character is amazing,” Laura told Entertainment Weekly. “She’s basically like a wealthy corrupt President’s wife who is vaguely European.” This is a good fit, as Laura’s own upbringing could be described as “vaguely European.” Though she was born in Pennsylvania, she moved to the U.K. when she was a teenager. She’s obviously done well for herself in her native country. In addition to her turn on TVD, she’s had roles on Supernatural, Chuck, and, more recently, The Walking Dead.

We expect more great things for Laura as her career continues. You can check out her Archer appearance on March 31.
