With Katherine (Nina Dobrev) still successfully pretending to be Elena and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) infected with Dr. Wes’ vampire cannibal serum on The Vampire Diaries, you’d better believe we’re eager to learn all we can about the next. Here’s everything we know so far about Season 5, Episode 14 (“No Exit”).

Stefan is on a mission to save Damon

As the synopsis informs us, Stefan (Paul Wesley) is starting to feel a bit guilty about how he told his big brother not to bother coming home: “As Damon’s behavior escalates from destructive to deadly, Stefan begins to regret their last conversation and decides to track Damon down and intervene.” Nothing like finding out your brother has turned vampire cannibal to stir the brooding! In the promo, we see Stefan set out in his red Porsche to save Damon.

Katherine calls shotgun!

Guess who’s along for the ride? In the promo, we also see Katherine continue her efforts to woo Stefan by, er, never leaving his side. Though, her plan may actually be starting to work. It seems that Stefan and Katherine end up kissing (and more?) in a roadside motel. This show does love motel hookups.

Denzo’s on house arrest

While Katherine and Stefan may or may not be getting steamy, Damon and Enzo are trapped inside of a house by the ungodly new alliance of Dr. Wes and the Travelers. As the synopsis points out, this trap will “test Damon’s friendship with [Enzo]” as Damon is now hungry for vampire blood and Enzo is currently the only game in town – er, house.

Elena is on “indefinite” vacation

Lest you think Elena might find her way back into her body in this episode, think again. Nina Dobrev told MTV News: "Elena is kind of gone, Katherine took over her body, so she's MIA and nobody knows, it's kind of like going missing, like getting kidnapped and the kidnapper leaving a note and saying that you're on vacation for indefinitely and, welp, nobody is going to look for you because they don't know you're gone.” So, Elena might not be back anytime soon.

Team Mystic Falls in onto Katherine

On the other hand, it seems like Elena’s friends might finally be putting the pieces together. According to the synopsis: After a heart-to-heart talk with Nadia (Olga Fonda), Matt (Zach Roerig) enlists Caroline (Candice Accola) and Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) help to protect Elena, leading to a violent confrontation.” Yikes! We’re guessing Nadia may have finally worn out her welcome in Mystic Falls.

Steroline moment

Might we get a development in the Steroline will-they-turn-romantic drama? The synopsis teases: “When Stefan tries to comfort a dejected Caroline, their conversation leads to a horrifying realization.” Why is Caroline dejected? Did she make a pass at Stefan and was rejected? And do they finally realize Katherine is pretending to be Elena?
