Could Vampire Diaries newbie Michael Malarkey (Enzo) be any more perfect? In honor of Valentine’s Day, he took to Twitter to share a performance of one of his own songs with his “#TVDFamily.” Excuse us while we just get something out of our eye…

“Good Morning my #TVDFamily here is your song,” Michael tweeted last night, along with a link to his song “Feed the Flames.” “You chose it. Hope it makes the hiatus more bearable. Big Love. #TVD Mx.” The thing about Michael’s music is: you know how lots of TV stars also release music that no one would listen to if the singer wasn’t already famous? He’s not one of those. Seriously, check out some of his stuff.

We’ve gushed before about Michael’s musical talent when we first listened to his song, “The Bells Still Ring.” Like “Feed the Flames,” it has a melancholic quality and Michael’s husky-yet-smooth voice — basically, it’s totally awesome. “Hammock of Stars” is a bit more upbeat. He also shared it with his Twitter followers in honor of today’s love holiday. “It's V Day..a silly holiday..but I'm a silly fellow so here is a silly love song..since you're lovely..and silly #TVD,” he tweeted, along with a link to the song. Now can we please hear Enzo sing on TVD? We’re sure he had plenty of time to practice while hanging in that Augustine Society cell for the last half-century.

What do you think of Michael’s music? Do you think Enzo should break out into song? Sound off in the comments below!
