Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham (Bonnie Bennett) is a woman of many talents. In addition to acting, speaking five languages, and having a killer fashion sense, Kat is also a talented musician. She released her first single, an electro-pop ballad called “Power” last June, and she’s ready to take her music to the next level. What did she tell Billboard about her upcoming “edge”?

“Moving to Interscope has been such a great dream come true for me,” Kat told the music news outlet at New York Fashion Week. “I'm excited to go into 2014 with these new records and a cooler edge in that lane. My single ‘Power’ was a great place to leave off in the summer. I'm ready to reveal who I am truly as a beatmaker, an engineer, writer and artist.”

We’re excited to see what the TVDer comes out with next. It sounds like Kat is really spending some time investing in her musical side — one of the many transformations in her life. Kat is also set to get married any day now to fiancé Cottrell Guidry. And, she’s indulging in the fashion world. Kat was part of New York Fashion Week’s The Heart Truth’s Red Dress Fashion Show. She looked killer in a Mathieu Mirano frock with an embossed leather skirt and matching bustier, alongside other celebrities walking the runway for a cause — such as Bella Thorne, Victoria Justice, Colbie Caillat, and Joan Jett.

“I don’t really have a main source for my style inspiration,” Kat told Billboard. “It’s really about however I feel about myself at the moment. I've been wearing a lot of suits for the past year steering away from feminine pieces and going for more structured pieces. My main source for inspiration comes from my muse at the moment.” Whatever her inspiration may be, Kat herself sure gives us plenty to be inspired about!
