Fresh off of New York Fashion Week, Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham (Bonnie) sat down with Just Jared to talk favorite Oscar fashion moments of the last few years. What did Kat list as her three favorite — and what trend does she hope rules this Sunday’s red carpet?

“We just got back from fashion week, so we know a thing or two about fashion,” Kat noted as she sat down with Just Jared’s editor-in-chief to chat Oscar fashion. She undertook the “30 Second Red Carpet Fashion Challenge,” tasked with naming her top three fashion moments of the past few years, along with three one-word descriptors for each look, in less than 30 seconds. “OK, this seems really hard,” Kat said nervously, but she totally rocked it!

Her first choice: Jennifer Lawrence in Christian Dior at the 2013 Oscars. You know, the one the actress tripped over on her way to the podium? Kat loved it, describing it as: “simple, clean, fab.” In fact, she couldn’t stop gushing about it, adding: “That was so amazing.” It may not do so well on stairs, but it sure was gorgeous!

Kat’s second choice was Amy Adams’ Oscar de la Renta, also from the 2013 Oscars. Kat called the grey-silver, tulle-embellished dress “fabulous, structured, flirty.” Nice choice, Kat!

Third and finally, Kat chose another 2013 Oscars gown: Charlize Theron in Christian Dior. The actress totally rocked the sleek silhouette of the white Couture gown. Kat described it as “white, pure, simple,” and she thinks — or at least, hopes — the 2014 Oscars will see more dresses like this one:  “I think they’re gonna go a little sexier this year,” said Kat. “A little bit more daring … That’s what I would like to see, and that’s what I’m hoping they do, but they could come looking like they’re going to a Quinceanera.”

What do you think of Kat’s picks? Sound off in the comments below!
