This week’s Vampire Diaries rehash gave Arielle Kebbel a much-deserved break, making room for another former TVDer: Malese Jow — aka Anna! How we’ve missed her (even though she’s starring on the CW’s new alien romance drama, Starcrossed). What did Malese have to say about the developments in Season 5, Episode 15 (“Gone Girl”)?

“Well, it looks like there may actually be a special place in hell for Katherine Pierce, but man did she mess with us on the way out,” Malese awesomely commented on Katherine’s epic death in last week’s ep. What did she have to say about the other deaths in the mortality-heavy episode? Well, she approved of Matt’s sympathetic treatment of Nadia — sitting with her as the hybrid venom took effect, and then insisting on giving her a proper burial.

“Aww. Way to go, Matty Blue Blue,” Malese said. Yep, he’s the nicest. Less nice? Dr. Wes’ death scene: “Now, I can’t say that evil Dr. Wes departed this Earth with nearly as much dignity.” Yeah, if we never have to watch Damon cut into anyone else’s eyeball, it will be too soon.

But, what we really want to know if what Malese thought of new girl Liv’s crush on Jeremy. Anna and Jer totally had a romance going before Anna was heartbreakingly killed in the Season 1 finale. Sob. “You don’t need magic to figure out that new witch Liv has her eyes on Jeremy,” Malese commented. ““Leremy? I don’t know. See that look, though? [cue shot of Bonnie’s glare] You don’t want to mess with Bon Bon’s man. Trust me. I’ve been there.” Ha!

Meanwhile, in what may have been the most cheer-worthy scene in the episode, Caroline told Tyler off for slut-shaming her about Klaus, or, as Malese put it: “Caroline wants off this whole ‘I had sex with the guy who killed your mom’ guilt trip, and you all had her back.” The Twitter-verse was abuzz with support for Care’s telling off of Tyler. You go, girl!

As for Elena’s little Super Ripper problem, Malese wasn’t afraid to ask the question: Does this mean we’ll get Ripper Delena sex?: “Well, judging by how insane this season has been, there’s probably a good chance we’ll find out.”
