We have good news and bad news, Vampire Diaries fans. Let’s start with the bad news: The Vampire Diaries is taking a mini two-week hiatus and won’t be returning until April 17. But here’s the good news: Don’t be too sad because when it returns, it’s time for Paul Wesley’s directorial debutSeason 5, Episode 18 (“Resident Evil”). And Stelena shippers are going to be very happy.

So what can we expect from the episode? From the looks of the promo, there’s going to be major relationship drama when Stefan and Elena find themselves having unsettling dreams of the life they might have had together. (Sorry, Damon! At least you have Enzo to give you relationship advice.)

Meanwhile, Grams returns to give Bonnie some disturbing news from the Other Side. There are some frightening changes happening on the Other Side, and it sounds like poor Matt is going to have a scary encounter with a few familiar faces (KOL!).

As for Liv and Luke, the siblings are trying to stop the Travelers from taking control of Mystic Falls — and they have Matt, Jeremy, and Tyler to help them. But it doesn’t look like Bonnie is going to be too thrilled when she finds out Jeremy has been plotting with Liv behind her back.
