Let’s get real. The past few episodes of The Vampire Diaries have been awesome but have delivered pretty horrific ratings. Season 5, Episode 17 (“Rescue Me”) hit a series low and Season 5, Episode 18 (“Resident Evil”) only got worse. So how did last night’s Enzo-focused episode do in the ratings? Read on to find out!

According to a CW press release, TVD delivering a 0.8 in the key 18-49 demo. While that isn’t a huge improvement over last week’s 0.7, it’s important to note that viewership was on the rise as well. Last week only 1.66 million viewers watched Paul Wesley’s directorial debut, but this week saw 1.8 million viewers. Not too shabby, eh?

It may not be a big jump, but we predict more people will start flocking back to the series now that Season 5 is about to come to a close. There are only three more episodes left, so things will be getting really crazy pretty soon. Haven’t you heard? The Other Side is collapsing and the Travelers want to rid the world of magic. It’s about to get crazy in Mystic Falls.
