Nina Dobrev (Elena) and Ian Somerhalder’s (Damon) real-life romance keeps getting sweeter! More than once, the couple has turned up to share delicious, southern-cooked meals at Parish Restaurant in The Highlands, Georgia. (We hear it’s is a pretty posh ‘hood. No surprise!) The Highlands is also only a hop, skip, and a jump (or one vampire swoop) from The Vampire Diaries’ CW set.
The restaurant itself was crafted inside an 1890’s pipe factory, and features “Parisian sconces, red chandeliers, and vaulted interior brick arches,” according to Hollywood Life. And not only is the scenery to die for, the menu is, too: it includes dishes like fried chicken and barbeque shrimp.
With Nina and Ian’s frequent visits — and the restaurant’s antique, romantic decor — we wonder if TVD writers will include this swanky eatery in a future episode? For some reason, we think Damon and Elena would totally dig it.
