Fantastic news for a star of The Vampire Diaries!
Fantastic Four star Ioan Gruffudd and wife Alice Evans, who played Esther on The Vampire Diaries, have a baby on the way, according to People.
This is the second child for the couple, who already have three-year-old daughter Ella.
Alice, 41, and Ioan, 39, are "thrilled" by the news, according to their rep.
The two met on the set of 102 Dalmations and were married in September 2007 in Mexico.
Ioan starred on the short-lived CW show Ringer and recently appeared on an episode of Castle. He played Mr. Fantastic in the two Fantastic Four movies and played Tony Blair in W.
Ioan also recently landed an upcoming role on USA's Necessary Roughness.
Alice's career is booming as well, as she recently appeared in an episode of Grimm. She was born in New Jersey but raised in England and was previously engaged to Olivier Widmaier Picasso, a grandson of Pablo Picasso.
Ioan has previously joked that Alice runs a tight ship.
"She’s very, very strong," he has said. "She’s like her mother. I’ve got my work cut out for me at home."
Regardless, let's hope their home life is more stable than Esther's was on The Vampire Diaries.
Congrats to the happy and talented family!
