Things are about to get freaky in Mystic Falls — and not in the hybrid-baby-making way! The Vampire Diaries Season 3, Episode 7 is titled “Ghost World,” and we couldn’t think of a better name for the show’s Halloween-themed episode. As the town prepares for their annual Illumination Night, ghosts start to appear everywhere (and not the friendly Casper kind). One extremely angry spirit unleashes some exceptional powers on the TVD crew, and Damon turns to Bonnie for help uncovering exactly what makes this ethereal being so strong.
Elena enlists Jeremy’s help so she can contact Stefan, but the plan backfires when it causes the younger Gilbert to make an awful decision.
Finally, parental figure Alaric is probably the only one with any semi-good news. The history teacher finds a hint to the past, which could really be anything but sounds pretty promising.
