What do you do when a badass villain has worn out his welcome? Get an even bigger villain to give the Original baddie a reason to stick around. The Vampire Diaries did just that with Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Connor Jordan (Todd Williams).

“For someone who’s so eager to sort of get out of town, he seems to stick around an awful lot,” Joseph agreed in an interview with TV Guide. Admitting he’s had to “up his game” since Todd Williams was brought in, J. Morg continues that Connor is operating with “what he sees as a God-given right to end the lives of all vampires.”

Based on the synopses for Season 4, Episodes 4 and 5, it seems Klaus will have special insight into Connor and his motives. “There’s more to you than meets the eye, isn’t there?” the OV gruff-whispers to the new hunter in the promo video for Season 4, Episode 3, “The Rager.”

Yikes. Except for all those muscles, we already don’t like what we’re seeing when it comes to Connor!
