If you Vampire Diaries fans like teeny, tiny spoilers and finding out how your favorite show comes together, then you should definitely follow editor Nancy Forner on Twitter. Not only is she passionate about her job, but she explains how the episodes come together in the finished project.

Right now, she’s in the process of editing the finale, Season 3, Episode 22, “The Departed.” Luckily for those of who love a little tease, she couldn’t resist giving her followers a little taste of what’s to come — and that involved some details about Season 3, Episode 19, “Heart of Darkness.”

“OK, so I am getting a little emotional here… and wanted to share… in 319 there is a beautiful scene where the differences between Damon and [Stefan] are discussed… it is really touching and tender and true. So now I am cutting a scene in 322… where the two brothers are being exactly who they are… and for some reason I am so moved by how well the characters of these two guys (vampires) are drawn out… how well the dialogue is written to express the differences and how well they act it out… dunno why it touches me, but it just does… #softheartededitor…”
This is about the third TVDer who’s said the finale made them tear up. We are in for an emotional ride, fang fans!

One Twitter follower asked Nancy if we’ll see former golden couple Matt (Zach Roerig) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) in the Season 3 finale’s flashbacks. “Funny how Matt is always just lurking around the corner of Elena's life… isn't he…” she replied.

We’re sure she meant lurking in the nicest possible way.
