Sigh. Digital Spy has a new interview with Paul Wesley, and the poor guy is still heartbroken that Stefan didn’t save Elena (Nina Dobrev) in The Vampire Diaries Season 3 finale. Cheer up, buttercup!

In Paul’s opinion, "Stefan would have just went, 'I don't really care what the hell you have to say', and would have grabbed her — but it is a story and frustrating things happen in life and stories.” Plus, then Matty Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig) would’ve been up Mystic Creek without a paddle, and wasting that studliness on fish food is a travesty.

Frankly, we don’t know what we would’ve done in Stefan’s position, but he has such strong feelings on it, we thought we’d ask you for your thoughts. (For the record, Julie Plec has addressed Paul’s concerns, saying, “the beauty of the dynamic of [their] relationship” is that Stefan listens to Elena.)

So, did Stefan do the right thing?
