Sigh. We kind of wanted to stay in the 12th century, when hot dudes walked around bare chested with swords. But Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 4, “The Five” came to an end before we had all our questions answered. Here are five things we hope to learn about in Season 4, Episode 5, “The Killer.”

Will Elena tell Stefan about her dirty dancing?
While the cats are away, they’ll dirty dance all night. Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) guzzled some coeds’ blood, then got all gyrational on the dance floor. Then when she returned to Mystic Falls, all remorseful, Elena didn’t exactly spill the dirty dancing details to Stefan (Paul Wesley). Will she ever?

Is Professor Shane one of The Five?
With his moppy hair and rumpled clothes, Professor Shane (David Alpay) doesn’t exactly scream “big, bad vampire hunter.” But maybe he’s like Alaric (Matt Davis) in that way? Even if he isn’t a member, he certainly supports the club, as evidenced by his relationship with Connor (Todd Williams). And why is he hanging out at frat parties? You’re a mystery, Mr. Shane.

What are The Five’s powers?
Where there’s a witch, there’s a way. In the 1100s, a witch and her fiery cauldron covered five shirtless hotties with tattoos. We know Connor can’t be compelled (and can magically unlock handcuffs with only an ear piercing) but what other magic does he wield?

Will Stefan keep the cure a secret?
Klaus (Joseph Morgan) swore Stefan to secrecy about the cure, but will he listen to the hybrid? It seems like everyone should be trying to find this thing, right? Then again, it took the younger Salvatore for-ev-er to tell his girlfriend about Katherine (Nina Dobrev), so who knows?

Is everyone going to Whitmore College?
Maybe they’ve already missed the application deadline, but is everyone going to apply to and attend Whitmore College next year? It could be just like Beverly Hills, 90210
