No matter how good an episode of The Vampire Diaries might be, we’re always left wanting more, because we love it that much. And so unless they plan on making this show two hours (how great would that be?!), we have a few recommendations for the rest of Season 4.

More Klaroline/Forwood: The Klaroline interaction at the Miss Mystic Falls pageant was one of our favorites — ever. And that, of course, only makes us want more of the adorably blond couple. However, the whole reason they had those interactions was Klaus’s (Joseph Morgan) belief that Tyler (Michael Trevino) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) are a thing, which we understand, but that fact has severely limited our Forwood this season. If this is going to be a love triangle, we need to spend more time with it. Also, we just want more Caroline (Candice Accola) in general.

Less Hayley: Speaking of Forwood, we don’t get the hype behind Hayley. She comes to town with her attitude and her sort-of accent, she ruins Tyler’s life (and the lives of 12 others) so that she can find out some information about her parents, and that’s it?  No offense, Hayley, but unless you prove that you’re more interesting than this, we’re not sure you deserve to hang with the super complicated crowd of Mystic Falls.

Romance for Professor Shane (David Alpay): No, we’re not necessarily talking about Bonnie (Kat Graham). We saw the way she was looking at Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen). However, we have yet to learn something about Professor Shane that hasn’t intrigued us. We’d love to see another side to him. Plus, he’s hot. And we are always down for a good shirtless scene.

A cure for the sire bond: We really just want Elena (Nina Dobrev) to be Elena again. We know that people change, and that’s fine. But like Caroline said, they don’t become totally different people. So if the sire bond needs to go away for Elena to become Elena again, then we’re all for it. No, we’re not talking about Stelena or Delena right now. We’re simply talking about Elena.

Elijah: The more Elijah (Daniel Gillies) there is in any given episode or season, the better it is. And we’ve barely seen Elijah this season, so let’s hope he has more speaking lines next time around.

Bonnie gets her good powers back: We love nothing more than a fierce, powerful Bonnie. After all, as a Bennett witch, she’s kind of the most powerful person in Mystic Falls, and we miss the days when she embraced that by taking on Klaus and dropping vampires with a single look and all that fun stuff. We think it’s time Bonnie took control again… but not with Expression. That scares us.

There’s our Season 4 checklist! What do you think? What or who could make Season 4 better for you?
