Only a fuddy-duddy would snap their cap at this: The Vampire Diaries just might be planning another flashback. We’re not just gammin’ with our killer-diller word choice here, cats and kittens: We’re giving you a clue as to what era we’ll see the Mystic Falls crew in. (Don’t worry, our slang will hit the silk after this paragraph.)
According to a post on Cherrix Casting’s Facebook page, TVD will shoot a new episode set in the 1940s next week. There weren’t many details beyond the call for men with military haircuts (it was wartime in the first half of the ‘40s, after all) and jazz musicians, but we’re still excited enough to go dig up our Casablanca and His Girl Friday DVDs.
Hm, who will we see in this flashback? The Salvatores signing up to go fight overseas? Or Klaus (Joseph Morgan) taking advantage of chaos? The hybrid does love his jazz, you know.
