With a title like “The Killer,” Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 5 is bound to be deadly. But who is most likely to see their name on a gravestone?
Well, let’s start with our three lovely hostages. Connor (Todd Williams) has a point to make, so he’s abducted Matt (Zach Roerig), Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), and April (Grace Phipps) and has them stashed at the Mystic Grill.
First, Jeremy is his invisible tattoo buddy, and they bonded in Klaus’s (Joseph Morgan) house of horrors, so we think the lil’ Gilbert is safe. For now.
Everything’s coming up Matt recently. He got a new truck, and that stalker chick with the fangs is nowhere in sight. Would the universe be this cruel to explode Matt? We hope not.
That leaves April, a sacrificial lamb if we ever saw one. Connor already half-killed her once, so what’s to stop him from killing again? At this point, April is just kind of an awkward hanger-on. She’s so desperate for friends, she likes Rebekah (Claire Holt). (We like Rebekah, but we wouldn’t exactly share a basket of fries with her at the Grill.) Things definitely could get dangerous for Mystic Falls’ newest human.
And while we think Caroline (Candice Accola) could easily bite Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) head off for not mentioning his hot werewolf friend Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), we’re pretty sure they’re safe.
Nope, we’d say Connor’s number is just about up. Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) are coming for him, and while Klaus might want the hunter alive, no one else does. But for the hybrid the most valuable thing about Connor is his ink, and we already know that is transferable.
Remember when we said Jeremy is safe? We meant we think he’s safe this week. We make no guarantees if he starts getting witchy black marks all over his body.
