It’s the perpetually asked (and unanswered) question: Is something going to finally happen between Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev)?

Well fang girls and boys, you’re in luck. According to E!, ‘something’ will happen between the two star-crossed lovers. And actually, you’re in double luck: Two somethings will happen.

E! says one will be “something fans have been expecting” and the other is “something that fans will not be expecting.” Cryptic? Yes. But, oh, are our minds reeling!

The only problem is, as we all know, ‘something’ — especially in Mystic Falls — could really be, well, ‘anything.’ Here’s hoping it’s all ‘something’ good!
