Vampire Diaries Spoilers: Which Recurring Character Might Die?

Being a Vampire Diaries fan is rough. Lives are constantly in danger, and we’re always worried each episode may be one of our favorite’s last. Especially when we get news like this: According to a spoiler from TV Line, “a recurring male character’s days are numbered.” Gulp.

There aren’t any more hints than that, but we have a pretty good idea it’s one Daniel Gillies (Elijah). First, he’s always getting white ash daggered. Second, he has a snazzy new show, Saving Hope, which is airing on CTV (and possibly NBC) and begins production in March. We’re wishing Daniel success, but this is why we wanted him upgraded from “recurring” in the first place!
