Get ready, horror fans, because Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 6, “We All Go a Little Mad Sometimes” takes its title from the Alfred Hitchcock classic Psycho. What does it mean? Perhaps there are clues in the synopsis!

Did Elena (Nina Dobrev) ingest more Tyler (Michael Trevino) venom? Because she’s having hallucinations, and whatever trip she’s on takes her to a dangerous place.

Maybe it was Klaus (Joseph Morgan) who slipped her the stuff, because he tells Stefan (Paul Wesley) some upsetting info about the new vampire. Then the OV acts on it. Later, the ex-besties team up again to help Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) with a new chapter in the book of the little Gilbert’s life. (It better not be Denver: Round 2.)

It sounds like Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) are still at college, because they meet up with Professor Shane (David Alpay) again; who has a story of ancient witchcraft to share with the elder Salvatore and the witch. Matt (Zach Roerig) then reveals something surprising to Damon regarding Mr. Shane. Maybe the prof is coming to Mystic Falls High to whip the school into shape?

Finally, Elena confesses something hurtful to Stefan. (More Damon hallucinations, perhaps?)
