Were you confused about whether the pilot for The Originals was actually an episode of The Vampire Diaries? Well, it was, and Season 4, Episode 20, “The Originals" was a jaw-dropper.
It’s OK. The episode is available on The CW’s Vampire Diaries site or you can get it from iTunes here. So why should you watch it? So many reasons! First, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) was really in his element last night. New Orleans — as imagined by TVD — is a town the hybrid helped build, and it’s hedonism at it’s best. Or worst, if you’re a human walking about at the wrong time of night.
What else can we tell you? There’s a huge, huge twist. Trust us. You do not want to be spoiled on this one. We’re not even going to tell you who’s involved. Suffice it to say it’s a game-changer. You’ll also want to see how the dynamics between the Original siblings play out. Alliances are shifting, people!
If all that wasn’t enough to convince you, we don’t know what will! Get thee to The CW and watch on. How else will you be ready for Season 4, Episode 21, “She’s Come Undone”? The Salvatores are done playing nice with Elena.
