How Did Victoria Secret Model Lily Aldridge Get Her Pre-Baby Body Back?

In case you were wondering, Victoria Secret Angel models have a mystery about them when it comes to getting their post-baby bodies in tip-top shape. And no, it doesn't take them a year or so to get back into that lingerie, it only takes them a few months. We know, right?!

Perfect example is Lily Aldridge — who is married to Kings of Leon frontman, Caleb Followill. She welcomed their first child, daughter Dixie Pearl, back in June of 2012, and just four months later she was back on the VS runway strutting her stuff. So what’s her little secret?

It’s as simple as exercise — like Ballet Beautifuland being healthy, ya’ll! “I saw all my friends bounce back with exercise and just being healthy,” Lily explains to Cricket’s Circle. “ It was so inspiring to me, so I never worried about that. It was hard work getting back in shape, but I did it, and I was really proud.”

But getting a pre-baby body back also has a lot to do with how active one is during pregnancy. Lucky for Lily, she followed some mommy advice from fellow Angels, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio, who were all pregnant at the same time.

“[Adriana and Alessandra] gave me such good advice for how to stay in shape. I did a lot of prenatal yoga and got lots of massages. I relaxed and had the most beautiful pregnancy — I loved every second of it.”

Lily also noted that she didn’t model during her pregnancy, but “checked out and really relaxed, enjoyed myself and had a healthy, happy pregnancy.”

So how’s life now as a doting mother to 2-year-old Dixie? It’s dual parts fun and challenging. “She is such a firecracker and has so much personality … Right now, Dixie is so social, and I’m really trying to teach her manners and to share, but it’s really hard to teach a two-year-old. I throw a full-on party in the street when she shares something with anyone, even me!”
