Taylor Swift to Perform at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Let’s be real. The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show isn’t really known as the musical event of the year. People don’t exactly tune in to listen to the music, if you get our drift. Yet every year the show attracts A-list talent including the likes of Kanye West, Rihanna, and Maroon 5 (it may have helped M5 frontman Adam Levine has dated many an Angel).

Now slated to perform at the show: Taylor Swift. TayTay may not have a reputation for prancing around in her underwear (she tends to leave that to fellow pop princesses) but we’re sure the lovely 23-year-old will fit right in with the beautiful ladies of Victoria’s Secret.

The booking is a major reversal in the relationship between the women’s fashion retailer and the music industry superstar. At least in Taylor’s mind. Just last year she told Australian radio show hosts Kyle and Jackie O she’d never given modeling much of a thought.

"Music was always just everything. As soon as I started writing songs, that was it. I don't think I ever thought that modeling thing was a possibility. No, I could not [do it now]! Victoria's Secret would not let me in!” she said, as reported by Entertainmentwise.

So what might Taylor perform? She’s well-known for her breakup songs including “I Knew You Were Trouble” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” and nothing says revenge better than looking fierce in your lacy underpinnings, right, ladies?

Also performing during the show: Fall Out Boy, Neon Jungle, and A Great Big World. Look for the prerecorded Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show to air Tuesday, December 10, on CBS.
