Full disclosure: Nobody is actually famous in this video but we really think they should be. Adam Martin and his sister recently caught a University of Minnesota hockey game together. Totally normal right? Well, this particular game happened to fall on Valentine’s Day.
“Bringing her to the game on Valentine’s Day, the perception, whether we’re out before the game or at the game, [was] that it was a date,” Adam explained to a local news affiliate in Minnesota. “I wanted to make sure there was a clear line, a sibling line, between the two of us.”
To make that line a reality, Adam created a sign: the simple yet brilliant “MY SISTER” with a big black arrow pointing to the right side of the paper and, when seated, to his sis. Although chances seemed slim Adam would actually get to show off his creation on the big screen, the Kiss Cam eventually found Adam and his sister, leading to the internet’s most recent obsession.
The video has made its way to international newspapers and, as of publishing, has more than 7.5 million views on YouTube, where the University of Minnesota posted it on February 17. The magic moment of the sign unveiling occurs right at the end of the 35-second clip, or make your life easy and watch it here.
