As shows like The Voice, The X Factor, and American Idol already know, it’s hard to employ a working musician. So when Sara Bareilles announced she was leaving NBC’s a cappella competition series The Sing-Off back in April, it didn’t come as a total shock, but it did leave fans scratching their heads for a reason why.

Wetpaint Entertainment recently asked Viggle LIVE! users is they knew the real reason the “Love Song” singer departed the show, and a whooping 91 percent answered correctly! Sara Bareilles left The Sing-Off to focus on her music. And it's safe to say that decision has paid off! Since her departure from the show, Sara released a new album, The Blessed Unrest, and it even earned her two Grammy Award nominations, including the year’s top prize — Album of the Year. Not too shabby!

While the majority of Viggle users managed to pass our test, 6 percent thought the reason for Sara’s departure was because she didn’t get along with the other judges. That could’t be further from the truth! In fact, Sara and head judge Ben Folds are good friends. Not only have the two collaborated together on Sara’s 2012 EP Once Upon Another Time, but Ben was also one of the many famous faces in Sara’s music video for her 2010 single, Uncharted. So don’t worry, Sing-Off fans. There’s no bad blood between these two.

Although we miss her technical critiques and humorous judging style, Sara’s Season 4 replacement, singer-songwriter Jewel, was able to hold her own with Ben and Boys II Men crooner Shawn Stockman. As for Sara, we’ll see her back on our TV screens on Grammy night  January 26, 2014 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
