Say what you will of the premise, but we’re now six sequels into the Fast & Furious franchise, and it’s showing no signs of slowing down — and we don’t want it to! Last spring’s Fast & Furious 6 might have been the series’ most exciting entry yet. And with the tragic loss of the films’ star Paul Walker just last month, we’ve been feeling particularly nostalgic for 2001 original, The Fast and the Furious.

Lucky for us, the first film aired on Bravo on December 28. It was so great to see Paul (Brian O’Connor) and the rest of the original cast  in their element behind the wheel, though it was tough not to tear up when looking into his baby blues. And he and Jordana Brewster (Mia Toretto) certainly have great chemistry in the film. But do you know who the role of Mia was originally written for — was it Jordana or somebody else entirely?

That’s the question Wetpaint asked Viggle LIVE! users during the airing of the iconic action movie, and almost half of viewers were way off base!

Only 31 percent of Viggle users guessed correctly that Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress Eliza Dushku was who the role of Mia was intended for. Meanwhile, a whopping 46 percent guessed that it was Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie that was meant to star in the film, and only 23 percent thought that Jordana Brewster herself was the first choice.

While we admit that Angie does great work in car racing flicks — Gone in 60 Seconds, anyone? — the movie’s writers were hoping to nab Bring It On star Eliza at the time, though she turned it down. Natalie Portman, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kirsten Dunst, Bijou Phillips and Jessica Biel all auditioned for the coveted role of Dom’s (Vin Diesel) feisty little sister, but the gig eventually went to young soap star Jordana Brewster. Now, we couldn’t imagine anyone other than Jordana behind the wheel!
