Saturday Night Live has catapulted dozens of comedians to super-stardom, including Tina Fey, Will Ferrell, Chevy Chase, Chris Rock, Mike Myers, Amy Poehler, and legions more — but none of the aforementioned funny folk is the richest cast member in the show's history (by a huge margin).

We asked Viggle LIVE! users to name the wealthiest SNL alum — with the option of three choices: Adam Sandler, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Eddie Murphy.

Considering their admirable film careers, most users chose either Adam (63 percent) or Eddie (25 percent), with only 12 percent correctly picking Julia.

Get this: Julia's net worth is $2.9 billion.

Now, we all know that Julia and the other cast members of Seinfeld are undoubtedly cashing in royalty checks with a ton of zeroes, even now, a decade and a half after the ninth and final season of the hit sitcom aired.

But Julia is also the heiress to a French conglomerate company — her family owns the Louis Dreyfus Group, which is involved in agriculture, energy, oil, commodities, shipping, and other areas.

Suffice it to say, Julia doesn't even need paychecks from her award-baiting roles in the film Enough Said and the HBO comedy Veep. (But we're sure they can't hurt!)
