Saturday Night Live has been a source of giggles since 1975, but the sketch comedy show recently came under scrutiny after Kenan Thompson publicly criticized the show for its lack of black female talent. Critics were pleased when the Powers That Be hired African American comedian Sasheer Zamata as soon as the clock struck 2014.

Sasheer made her epic debut on the January 18th episode, giving us her best Rihanna impression and appearing in a flashback scene to host Drake’s bar mitzvah. The general consensus was that Sasheer did a pretty good job but could have been featured more prominently. Since then, she’s appeared in just one more episode, dazzling audiences once more. But what is America’s first impression of the first black female cast member in seven years?

Wetpaint asked Viggle users what they’ve thought of Sasheer’s performance now that she has two live shows under her belt. A whopping 77 percent of Viggle users are adoring the newest cast addition, while just 23 percent are just as impressed as McKayla Maroney at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Admittedly, it is a little early in her career on the long-running show, but it looks like she’s delivering the laughs already.
