If you haven’t gotten a chance to catch the most recent season of American Idol, we have three little words for you: Harry Connick, Jr.

The studly new judge has raised not only the hotness level on the panel (which was already pretty hot what with Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban aboard), but he’s also upped the caliber of the competition in general.

As Mr. Viggle explains, just two weeks into his Season 13 debut, Harry has outlawed some of the most annoying facets of the series including the overuse of the word “pitchy.” The result is a refreshed version of an established favorite. Where should we address out thank you notes, Harry?

See if you like the new Idol yourself when episode five starts tonight at 8 p.m. on FOX. It’s going for two hours so be sure to bring popcorn.

Also on this evening: the season finale of American Horror Story: Coven. Beginning at 10 p.m. on FX, the girls will face the Test of the Seven Wonders (not to be confused with Aladdin’s Cave of Wonders). Which witch will reign supreme? Tune in to see!

Ready. Set. Viggle! Tonight’s got lots of entertainment option. What will you be watching?
