Villa Blanca Sexual Harassment Case Is Over — Lisa Vanderpump Shares “Victory” Tweet

Lisa Vanderpump has been tweeting happily about her win in court this week — but it seems like she actually lost the case! “Victory!” Lisa tweeted yesterday. “It was principal [sic], manager of [Villa Blanca] vindicated by the jury unanimously on all charges, been a tough ten days at trial. #truthprevailed.”

That’s an interesting interpretation of what happened. Yes, restaurant manager Michael Govia was exonerated, but the jury found Villa Blanca liable! Additionally, the jury found the restaurant acted with malice against the server, Karina Bustillos, in the aftermath of the incident. Karina’s been awarded $6,250, and it looks like her lawyers are attempting to collect further punitive damages, although that portion of the trial won’t be until next week.

Lisa is probably just happy because the judge is holding the restaurant liable, not Lisa herself. She’s had plenty of legal troubles this year: first, the discrimination case that was settled out of court, and now this mess. Lisa had better keep her nose clean, or her stock may start to fall on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Lisa has yet to confirm her return to RHOBH, but perhaps it was because of all this courtroom drama she’s been dealing with lately.
